i hooked up my laptop to a HD monitor and the picture is awesome. this cable does what its supposed to do.
I'm using it with my MacBook Pro 13 and an Acer 22" display. This item just works. Purchased this item in place of the product offered by Apple. Much less expensive and excellent quality.
As of now 12/19/09 Amazon has refunded my money & shipping expenses to ship it back. I reported to Amazon that this was the wrong cable, Amazon preceded to send me the same product again. I notified them that I wanted a refund.
I am satisfied with the purchase. It works fine as described. 1080P display works flawlessly.
